In anticipation of having a moving truck on moving day, James and I went couch shopping this past weekend, and whaddya know? We found one! It's mossy green, very comfy, it fit our budget, and it definitely beats the crummy futon we've been hurting our backs and butts on over the past year.� We bought it at [Jordan's](http://www.jordans.com/). [caption id="attachment_928" align="aligncenter" width="571" caption="James testing out our new couch"][![James testing out our new couch](https://www.littlebabylump.com/Portals/188884/Images/dsc04137.jpg "New Couch")](https://www.littlebabylump.com/Portals/188884/Images/dsc04137.jpg)[/caption] I also finally had a chance to refurbish the coffee table I bought for $5 a couple of months ago at the [Goodwill](http://www.goodwill.org) store.� A few screws to fix the wobble, some sandpaper, a few fresh coats of black paint and some elbow grease later - BAM - a beautiful "new" coffee table!� It's a bit large for the living room we have now, but it'll be just right in our new place. James and I pretty much spent the whole weekend planning and rearranging the furniture in our apartment with the goal of finally setting up the nursery (for the most part).� To make the transition from our bedroom to the nursery a little easier (again, probably just for me), we've left the crib in our room for the time being and set up the [Pack 'N Play](http://www.gracobaby.com/Catalog/Pages/productlistingPage.aspx?catid=10:43||1+13:4294959711||1#/1606) in the nursery.� I figured this would make things a lot simpler if I decided I didn't like how things were going after the first couple of nights and wanted Em back in our room again. I'm happy to report that the night went pretty well (normal behavioral hiccups aside).� It may have taken me a little longer than usual to get to sleep due to worries about possible baby monitor malfunctions or kitty mishaps (thankfully, Oliver kept his distance), but in the end, it seemed to work out pretty well.� I like to think Emmett enjoyed his independence, too.
