Hi, readers! Pamela here. Blogger of this blog. I'm 27 years old, and I can't believe it, but I just did the math and apparently I've been a Bostonian for almost 10 years. I'm married to an extremely tall teacher named James, and I have a similarly tall 4-year-old son named Emmett. His main nicknames are Goober and Emmoo. We also have an awesome orange cat named Oliver. He acts more like a dog though, and we pretty much just call him Monkey.
By day, I work at HubSpot, a marketing software company based in Cambridge, MA. (Fun fact: HubSpot powers this entire website!) I've been there for 5 years, and these days I'm a senior blog strategist for HubSpot's Inbound Marketing Blog. How appropriate, right? What can I say? I love to write.
By night, I enjoy hanging out with my extremely tall boys, and I tend to enjoy the occasional run. I'm known for making a mean guacamole, and verbally, I tell pretty awful strories. (I think that's why I write). You can find me on Twitter @pamelump -- a nickname I was given as a wee one, which also inspired the name of this blog!
I launched LittleBabyLump.com when we were pregnant with Emmett, and the blog quickly became a virtual baby book that I used to keep friends and family updated about our pregnancy and our new family.
But when I started working on the blogging team at HubSpot, Little Baby Lump sort of fell by the wayside. (It turns out the last thing you want to do after you've been blogging all day at work is, well, blog.)
After a 3ish year hiatus, I am excited to re-launch LittleBabyLump.com to announce that we are expecting our second little lump -- a girl! -- in April 2014. I hope you enjoy reading about our new adventure as a family of three, which I'm pretty sure will involve a lot of fun-to-read-about shenanigans.
